Credit Card Crazy

I don’t get this study. Where’s the surprise? In a debt filled economy, example the federal government, everyone experiences some degree of debt. It’s a fact of life. We don’t have tons of cash on hand to play with. Especially when faced with a crisis, like job loss, repairs to homes or automobiles, what are we to do?

Who cares how many credit cards you have? It’s irrelevant and you can get as many as you want at any time. The credit card companies are throwing them at every consumer that breathes. Shouldn’t they be held accountable for the mess consumers are in? They allow us to charge up balances and then they survive off of our interest payments. What a well planned ripoff.

For those who are lucky or blessed with lots of money or well controlled lifestyles, can easily say that the average consumer should wait to obtain material items or spend less, but who is right? Do you have the right to tell me how to manage or pend my money or credit? I don’t think so. It boils own to individual tolerance levels and self control in a highly motivated society built around “I want it, and I want it now”.
