Are You a Meany?

They say that money can’t buy love or happiness, or does it? Are you financially well off? Are you mean to others? Do you have a swagger in your step or an over sized ego? Do you let people know you have money, drive an expensive car, live in a huge house, dress in rich clothes, take extravagant vacations? Hum, or are you one of those people who look down onto others less fortunate than you? Hence the question, are you a meany?
A case study was undertaken to investigate human behavior of those fortunate folks with money. How do they treat other people? Are they willing to assist anyone else, or even provide guidance, support, or a kind word of encouragement? Who takes the time and effort to help others? I say not many, throughout my life, I have witnessed a meager few people who have mentored me, providing opportunity to learn, and shared their wealth of knowledge and experience.
Most people want you to do well, they don’t want to see you fail. I’m not talking about training you at work, that’s not the point of this study. Those people who will mentor you expecting nothing in return except their own personal satisfaction of seeing you reap the reward of their effort and wisdom.
