It’s been a long time since I have updated anything on this site, very sorry for the huge time gap. I have been completely consumed with my newly purchased business DRY CLEANING. This was the last busines I could ever imagine myself becoming involved in, let alone buying, what a surprise.

After almost 2 years of an intense and exhautive search, I decided that all the pieces fit perfectly. I have ZERO experience in Dry Cleaning, however, this business has been established for 23 years at a fantastic location in a very busy mall with huge traffic. I researched this opportunity for a few months, it just felt right. Don’t let anyone tell you that you can not learn a new business, service or product, you can. I have a great mentor at the Plant where all the actual cleaning takes place. My business is a Dry Cleaning DEPOT. We take the clothes from the customer and deliver them to the Plant for cleaning and then take them back to the Depot where the customer picks them up. A pretty simply business model. 

I will begin my series in How to Buy an Existing Business soon. I have  lots of information to share with you and some simple suggestions on what NOT TO DO. I wish I knew then what I know now, I would have saved myself a lot of time and effort. But all is a learing eperience that can only be looked back at with humility and humour.
