I just don’t get it! People have this strange craving to own someone elses’s stuff by paying an incredible amount of money for them. This craving gets inflated if the item was once owned by a celebrity. My gosh!
What do you do with the stuff? Do you display the item on a pedestal, then invite people over to your house to boast about your proud ownnership? What an ego maniac. Would you pay $70,000 for a pair of sunglasses, even if they were worn by Steve McQueen? I know I wouldn’t.
