Buying a Business 101

buying a business.jpgI just bought a business. WOW, I feel great just to say it. Sick and tired of working for someone else? Not reaping any rewards, recognition or your compensation a joke? Or, are you just fed up with working for and reporting to AS*HOLES! Well, you need to take the plunge like I did. I will walk you through the process over the next couple of weeks in a short series on Buying a Business 101.

This is something that has nagged me all my life. My background and experience for all my working life has been in the CORPORATE WORLD. Sounds exciting, it’s not. I have worked myself up to a DIRECTOR level of management. It’s not all it’s cracked up to be, believe me. The scratching and clawing to get there wasn’t worth it, not to mention the 60+ hour work weeks and very hard intense stressful workload was overwhelming at times. Seeing and experiencing the stupidity, the power mongers, and of course the back stabbers (you know, the people who are your friends), that have no clue about the business, or what they’re doing, but, who continue to poke their heads up the bosses you know what, was disgusting.

Now that my rant is over, I had to get that crap off my chest, I’ll concentrate on the purchasing of the business. Stay tuned and I share the process along the way, it’s actually been refreshing so far and who knew that I would even consider to be in this type of business, no way!
