Yeah, even the highly paid and influential actors have to pay the piper. The piper in this case is the Government. Wesley Snipes has been indicted for tax fraud, ouch! There are 8 charges of tax fraud totally $12 million, and he has also failed to file tax returns for 6 years, is he stupid or what?

Maybe Snipes has received too many swats upside his head from all the action flicks he’s starred in to realize he’s in deep, deep trouble. These charges are not small by any factor, carrying a possible 16 years in prison. That’s prison, not your corner store jail time. The government considers payment of taxes very seriously and also judges tends to hand out the harhest penalty for abuse.

Why is it that people with all the money don’t have any financial responsibility to pay their taxes like the little guys?
