Protect Yourself

marriage.jpgIt never hurts to think ahead, even when getting married. You don’t enter into a marriage thinking about divorce, but, consider the facts,  you are entering into a contractual agreement of matrimony between two people. Like any other contract, you should always have an escape clause or a written agreement if the contract is voided. Prenups use to be for the rich and famous, not anymore. No one wants the headache of figuring out who gets what, only the lawyers get your money for sure.

Emotions run high when faced with the prospect of divorce, so if you have taken the steps to ensure that all legal activity has been documented in a clear and concise manner, then there will be no doubt about the end result when it comes to finances and property splits.
