If you are the CEO and responsible for generating revenue for your company and shareholders, then picture this. Raise the price of oil to $5.00 per gallon for 30 days, after the consumer fury hits the fan, lower the costs to $3.50, everyone will feel better and now the heat is off, so to speak. You have succeeded in raising the revenue for your company and shareholders and the consumer feels relieved that the price has been reduced, what a joke. It’s called Marketing 101.Deceive the public into believing their getting a break, when really your ripping them off before their eyes. Feel better?
