Do You Carry Cash?
With the world evolving to the debit card, I find myself carrying less and less cash these days. I feel different. Red Skelton used to carry large sums of cash, he said it made him feel important and empowered. Plastic is everywhere these days. Maybe cash is too heavy in your pocket or enlarges your wallet, or in some retail outlets is even frown upon. Gone are the days when flashing huge wads of cash caught everyones eye, now you flash the platinum, gold, or emerald credit cards. Or a celebrity has plastered their face on your personal credit card, can’t quite figure out why anyone would want to carry a celebrity’s picture on their credit card, hum. Cash is King, just an expression lost in the world of debit cards I guess.

How do you protect yourself from the thieves ? In some retail outlets the cashiers eyes glaze over when you use cash, they have to stop and run it through a machine to authenticate the paper note. How bazaar, I remember vividly when “cash was king”, nowadays people rarely carry cash, I’m one of them, why bog yourself down fumbling for paper in your pockets, just use a plastic card for all your purchases, seems simple to me.
