XM Satellite in Deep Trouble
XM Satellite Radio has produced a 3 year plummeting share price with 60% loss so far this year, yikes !!!. Sirus Satellite Radio is licking it’s chops and could potentially look at an early takeover of XM. The competition has heated up between both radio services and it looks like a fight to the finish. XM has been struggling to stay afloat since the addition of Howard Stern to the Sirus family. I think both XM and Sirus have over forecasted subscriber growth, paying for radio has been a challenging marketing issue. Stay tuned for more, as they say in the radio business.
What are your thoughts about paying for Satellite Radio, leave me a comment.

To me its crazy that people would pay for radio! Radio has been free for nearly 100 years and just because The king of all media decides to move to this pay format consumers are lulled into thinking that its ok to pay for it. The delivery method may be slightly different but at the end of the day its still only audio pushed over signal to a mobile or stationary box. How can that be worth 14.95 a month (plus a $200 hardware investment) ?!?
